Ladies and Gentlemen,
We meet during the 30th International Young Audience Film Festival Ale Kino!. This is a unique event. From its inception, the organisers have been devoting their attention to children and young audiences, for whom every year they choose the most valuable films from around the world. Titles that, in addition to their entertainment value, encourage children and adolescents to give reins to their imagination, that inspire creative thinking and broaden the knowledge of the contemporary world.
This year's festival programme promises to be very interesting. It features nearly one hundred and fifty films, including about twenty Polish productions. In addition to competitions, the Panorama, or the imaginative thematic sections it is worthwile noting the Forum accompanying the festival and dedicated to film education and the dissemination of knowledge about film. Thanks to such meetings, a valuable film education is becoming increasingly popular.
I wish all the participants and guests of the 30th International Young Audience Film Festival Ale Kino! the most inspirational film screenings, and wish the organisers every success in further editions of this important festival.
