The festival’s works are going at full steam to enable viewers to watch nearly 150 outstanding animation s as well as live action, short and full-length films, whose majority have not been shown in Poland yet. The films presented in the competition will compete for the prize of the Golden Goats (Złote Koziołki), which will be awarded by an international jury.
This year, the jury will be represented among others by Dorota Kędzierzawska, the winner of many prestigious awards at festivals in Poland and abroad (including the Deutsches Kinderhilfswerk Grand Prix and the Peace Film Award at the Berlinale 2011). Last year, the director’s film entitled Tomorrow Will Be Better received at Ale Kino! a Special Mention of the International Jury and the Children's Jury Award - Marcinek - for the best feature film.
In 2006 the director was awarded with Platinum Goats at 24th Ale Kino! Festival.
