The unconditional love between Nick (19) and Evy (16) has no voice or sound, as they are both deaf. When they sense that her parents oppose their relationship, they decide to flee and hide in the wreck of a submarine, where Evy will try to become pregnant. They are convinced that once they have a child together, nothing and nobody will be able to keep them apart. But in their cage of happiness Evy discovers that Nick had another reason to disappear.
