SYNOPSIS

The hero of the film is the son of a worker, a pupil of the 3rd class of elementary school, who dreams of becoming a merchant. He tries to set up a students’ cooperative on the premises of the school. Dżek is a lively, amiable boy, whose active approach is able to motivate the entire class to work and act. At the same time, he wants to prove that the activities undertaken by kids can bring about positive results, if only they are appreciated by adults. Dżek himself, implementing the concept of cooperative movement, encounters mistrust and contempt, even though he invests all of his free time, energy and heart into the mission. The story is located in America, but in fact it concerns Polish reality.
