Dorota Kędzierzawska

A director and scriptwriter. The winner of numerous prizes at national and international festivals. She received the Platinum Goats for lifetime achievements, a special prize at the 23rd Ale Kino! International Young Audience Film Festival in Poznań (2006); the Big FeFe at the 15th FeFe Felliniada Festival in Warsaw (2007), and the Gold Alexander for lifetime achievements at the International Film Festival in Thessaloniki (2011).

Gert Hermans

Involved in various national and international projects promoting quality films for children and youngsters and working with various target groups, such as young filmmakers (MakingMovies, KidsForKids), prisoners (Behind the Scenes), teachers (Jekino Education), etc. Today he is chief editor of the ECFA Journal and of various Belgian publications on children's film and media.

Jaroslava Hynštová

Studied at the Palacky University in Olomouc, majoring in film studies and English philology. A programmer at the International Film Festival for Children and Youth in Zlín. Before that, she was a regional cultural correspondent for the biggest Czech newspaper, she translated films for Zlín Film Festival and worked as a guest manager for the small film festival Eurofilm in the spa town Luhacovice. A screenwriter and a director of an amateur theatre group in her home town Luhacovice.

Lina Paulsen

She studied media culture, visual communication and European ethnography in Hamburg. Since 2005 she has been working for the Hamburg International Short Film Festival and for the Documentary Week Hamburg. She is coordinating the Short Film School and is the director of the Mo&Friese Children's Short Film Festival Hamburg.

Olivier Ringer

Directed his first feature film Pom le Poulain in 2006. Before that, he wrote and directed short fiction films: Good and Haute Pression, awarded at the Avoriaz festival. He has also directed video clips, institutional films, and many sketches for Les Guignols de l'Info (Canal+). On the Sly, his second feature film, was awarded in many festivals around the world and received the ECFA Award for Best European Film for Children in 2012.

Petri Kotwica

Has made several award winning short films. His feature debut Homesick won several prizes at international film festivals. His second feature Black Ice premiered in Berlin Film Festival's competition, and won six national film awards including best film, directing and screenplay. His third feature Rat King premiered at Tribeca Film Festival.
